A senior government official was killed in the coastal city of Sirte, Libya's official news agency LANA reported Sunday. Gunmen shot Hassan al-Droui, the deputy industry minister, in an overnight attack in his hometown, east of the capital, Tripoli, the agency said, citing a security official.
