Faisal: No doubt, the talks reflected the deep-rooted historic ties between our two countries and the size of joint cooperation between the two countries in a number of fields which aim at enhancing the economic, commercial, investment and technical relations, as well as the constant effort to boost them to high levels seeking more rapprochement and exploitation of resources available in the two countries. I state that the Kingdom and Pakistan are always keen to provide support for the two countries' joint committee and activate the joint business council in all fields, particularly those related to agriculture, industry and other projects, including the current discussions on cooperation in energy projects amid the giant capabilities Pakistan is commanding in the field of power generation out of which only 16% is invested. This matter was discussed by the two countries' joint committee which will also meet over the two coming months. It is important to say that the two countries are keen to overcome any kind of problem that might derail the economic ties path. I assert that the Saudi Development Fund will continue to serve as a core base for different development projects in Pakistan. I could confirm the agreement between the two countries on ways to boost the continuing consultation and coordination on regional and international matters of mutual concern in addition to the constructive cooperation of the two countries in the service of the Islamic nation issues within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. In this regard, I have to point to the close cooperation between our two countries in the field of terror combat at the bilateral and international levels and our determination to go ahead in these efforts until the complete uprooting of terror phenomena. --More 20:51 LOCAL TIME 17:51 GMT تغريد
