A five-story building under construction in the southern Indian state of Goa collapsed today, killing at least 13 workers and leaving dozens more feared trapped under the rubble. According to Police Superintendent Shekhar Prabhudessai, authorities managed to recover the bodies of the 13 workers but were trying to determine how many people were at the construction site when the structure crumpled in Canacona, a city about 70 kilometers (44 miles) from the state capital of Panaji. According to police estimates, about 50 workers were at the site.
