Israeli military aircrafts have penetrated once more the Lebanese airspace in stark violation of Lebanese sovereignty and U.N. Security Council resolution 1701. According to a statement issued by the Lebanese military, unmanned aerial vehicles entered Lebanese airspace over the southern village of al-Naqoura, situated 91 kilometers (57 miles) south of Beirut. The remote-controlled aircrafts carried out surveillance flights over several areas in southern Lebanon and Beirut before it left Lebanon's airspace.
