UN Security Council sends more troops to South Sudan

The United Nations Security Council has decided to send 5,500 additional peacekeepers to reinforce its force of 7,000already in South Sudan, dpa reported.
The UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) will also have more than 1,300civilian police as it faces greater challenges from intense fighting that has displaced tens of thousands of people in the African country.
