Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pointed out that the rapidly developing media and their increasing influence on the world public opinion has put the Saudi diplomatic missions abroad against great challenges, particularly as regards the bad stereotypes and confusing concepts circulated about the Kingdom in an attempt to distort its image in the world and, thus, requiring qualitative and quantitative effort to be exerted by our ambassadors and heads of missions abroad to fend off this ugly stereotype of the Kingdom amid the spread of unprecedented wrong information about our country. To draw the smart real picture of the Kingdom abroad, a high-level ad hoc task team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will soon be formed to study the phenomenon and submit its recommendations that would be implemented by the embassies abroad, the Minister said today. Prince Saud Al-Faisal was addressing the closing session of the eight-day 3rd meeting of the Saudi ambassadors and heads of missions abroad, taking place in the capital, Riyadh. -- More 20:38 LOCAL TIME 17:38 GMT تغريد
