UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, have received messages from the U.S. President Barack Obama, related to bilateral relations between the two countries. According to WAM, Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, received the two messages during a meeting today with Michael H. Corbin, Ambassador of the United States of America to the United Arab Emirates. The U.S. President praised the existing bilateral relations between the U.A.E. and the United States, expressing his interest and saying that he looked forward to enhancing them in various fields. He congratulated the U.A.E. for winning its bid to host the EXPO 2020 in Dubai, noting the Emirates' leadership in education, innovation and business. In his message to the UAE President, the US President touched on current regional developments.
