Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, chaired the Cabinet's session Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Crown Prince on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressed his deep appreciation to the leaders and heads of delegations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States for their efforts exerted in the 34th session of the GCC Supreme Council concluded in Kuwait and characterized by keenness on strengthening and activating the march of the Council's works , also expressing his deep appreciation to Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah of the State of Kuwait for his efforts exerted for the success of the Summit. The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session that the Cabinet commended the decisions contained in a final communiqué of the thirty-fourth session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Declaration of Kuwait which reflected the efforts exerted to enhance the joint cooperation march and expressed the positions of the GCC States towards political, regional and international developments and issues. The Cabinet welcomed the decisions of the meetings of the Ministerial Council of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation at its fortieth session in Guinea, stressing the Kingdom's speech during the meetings towards a number of challenges and developments faced by the peoples of the Islamic nations, especially the risks posed to the city of Al-Quds from violations of Israeli occupation forces and Zionist plan aimed at dividing Al-Aqsa Mosque temporally and spatially, and stressing the importance of a serious and firm stand against these violations to save Al-Aqsa Mosque from the risks of Judaization. --More 15:03 LOCAL TIME 12:03 GMT تغريد
