Ukraine's opposition leader Klitschko plans run for presidency

Ukraine's opposition leader Vitaly Klitschko says he will run for president of his embattled country, according to dpa.
Klitschko, the world heavyweight boxing champion turned opposition leader, made the announcement during a live interview Thursday with the broadcaster ARD from Ukraine's capital Kiev.
"I will run for the office," he said, before a planned speech to protestors gathered on Kiev's main Independence Square.
