Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Advisor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, patronized here today the launching ceremony of Saudi Human Genome Project at the headquarters of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. A speech ceremony was held on this occasion. This project aims to establish standards for personalized medicine such as classifying patients into different categories according to their genetic nature to provide a more accurate and efficient treatment targeting that specific patient.
