OPEC Decides to Maintain Current Production Level

Venezuela's oil minister Rafael Ramirez announced today that the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) decided to maintain the current production level of 30 million barrel per day.
In a press statement on the sidelines of 164th OPEC Meeting in Vienna, the Venezuela's minister added that the Conference decided to extend the tenure of Abdullah Salem El-Badri as Secretary General for a period of one year, with effect from 1 January 2014.
