China's Defence Ministry said on Tuesday that countries whose aircraft were not reporting their flight plans to China in a new Chinese air defence identification zone over the East China Sea were "irresponsible," Reuters reported. But the ministry also said in a statement on its website that China considered the zone to be one of cooperation and not confrontation.
