Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues. Albilad newspaper highlighted approval by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of the important decisions issued by the Council of Higher Education recently. Alriyadh, Alyoum and Alsharq newspapers commented on the Iranian foreign minister's start of a visit to the Gulf countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The newspapers urged Iran to mend relations with its neighbors and explained that Iran could reverse its policy towards peaceful coexistence and cooperation with its neighbors especially the Gulf states. The newspapers stressed the importance of making the region free from nuclear weapons and said that the Gulf states want Iran to respect the neighborliness; stop interfering in the affairs of countries in the region and support for the killing of Syrians; and open the file of the occupied UAE islands. --More 10:08 LOCAL TIME 07:08 GMT تغريد
