Jordanian Child Diagnosed with Coronavirus in UAE

An eight-year-old Jordanian child was diagnosed here today with a Middle East respiratory syndrome Coronavirus (Mers-Cov), Abu Dhabi Health Authority announced today.
The patient was found to have Mers-Cov during medical check-ups of his family members when his father was recently diagnosed with the same virus.
The child was admitted to hospital for quarantine and follow-up.
