The boss of ailing French carmaker PSA Peugeot-Citroen announced Wednesday he would give up his generous pension package, following a furore over a nest egg that could have cost the company 21 million euros (28.4 million dollars), according to dpa. "I have decided to renounce the current arrangements of my pension rights," PSA CEO Philippe Varin, 61, told reporters after coming under fire from the government, opposition and PSA workers. Varin is set to step down next year, after a less-than-stellar five years at France's biggest carmaker.
