Police said at least 14 people are now known to have died when the roof of a supermarket collapsed in the Latvian capital Riga. Rescue teams, including dozens of soldiers, were searching the rubble for survivors, dpa reported. Local hospitals have called for more blood donations following the collapse on Thursday evening. Police are investigating the operator of the supermarket.
