The Kingdom's Saudi Fund for Development and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees ( UNHCR ) have recently signed a cooperation agreement , in response to an urgent appeal to help Rohingya refugees in Thailand who were stranded as a result of persecution to which they are exposed to in their country. The total value of the agreement reached an amount of 231,321 dollars. The Commission expressed its thanks and appreciation of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for their continued support for humanitarian issues related to refugees and displaced persons in various parts of the world.
