The eurozone economy grew by 0.1 per cent in the third quarter, the European Union's statistics office Eurostat said, three months after the currency bloc pulled out of recession, dpa reported. The increase in gross domestic product (GDP) is in line with analysts' expectations. The wider EU grew by 0.2 per cent in the same period, after a 0.3-per-cent GDP increase in the second quarter. The eurozone emerged from its longest-ever recession in the second quarter of 2013, when 0.3-per-cent growth ended six consecutive quarters of contraction.
