AlHijjah 29, 1434, Nov 3, 2013, SPA -- Security Spokesman of the Interior Ministry Major General Mansour Al-Turki announced that the grace period for violators of labor and immigration regulations came to an end today, stressing that field security campaign will be implemented in all different regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, within the framework of a comprehensive strategy aiming to correct the current situation of violators of labor and immigration regulations. This came in a press conference held here today by the Interior Ministry in collaboration with the Labor Ministry and in the presence of Dr. Mufarrej bin Saad Al-Hagbani, Deputy Minister of Labor and a number of other senior officials. "The field security campaign, in coordination with the Labor Ministry, will take place in all cities, provinces, villages and rural towns," Al-Turki added, pointing out that the campaign targets illegal expatriates and overstayers with visas for Hajj, Umrah, visit, tourism or medical treatment, in addition to infiltrators. "The campaign also aims to arrest whoever employ any violator and let them to self-employ. It targets also anyone providing residence or transportation means for the violators or hide them," Al-Turki added. Interior Ministry is keen on readiness of all relevant security agencies for implementing and continuing this campaign, he emphasized. He concluded by extending thanks to Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior for chairing a number of meetings, in regard of implementing the security field campaign, in the light of the directives of the royal order. --More 21:59 LOCAL TIME 18:59 GMT تغريد
