AlHijjah 24, 1434, Oct 29, 2013, SPA -- Russia on Tuesday issued fresh threats against Ukraine, this time over an allegedly unpaid million-dollar gas bill, dpa reported. "We are deeply concerned about the arrears accumulated by Ukraine for supplies of Russian natural gas," Gazprom chief executive Alexei Miller said in a statement. Gazprom is majority-owned by the Russian state. Miller explained that if Kiev does not pay a 882 million dollar bill for Russian gas that had been due October 1, Ukraine would have to start payments in advance.
