Bomb explodes in northeast Indian market, 5 hurt

AlHijjah 24, 1434, Oct 29, 2013, SPA -- Police say they are investigating the explosion of a crude bomb that injured five people in a marketplace in northeast India, AP reported.
A police official in the Manipur state capital of Imphal says the homemade bomb was triggered by remote control on Tuesday morning when people were setting up their stalls before the market opened.
Four of the injured are being treated in a hospital.
