Yemeni Security Source Denies Deaths in a Prison in Sanaa

AlHijjah 17, 1434, October 22, 2013, SPA -- A Yemeni security source denied that deaths toll fell due to rioting prisoners in an intelligence prison in the capital Sanaa.
In a statement to the Yemen news agency (SABA) the source said that a group of prisoners in political security prison in Sana'a attacked the Manager of Investigations and some guarding members using sharp objects, resulting in some riots in the prison.
He stressed that efforts currently being devoted to contain the situation and end the riots in the presence of representatives from the Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Human Rights.
