AlHijjah 17, 1434, Oct 22, 2013, SPA -- A shooting at a middle school in northern Nevada on Monday has left two people dead and two boys in critical condition, authorities said. The identities of the shooter and victims at the school for 7th and 8th graders in Sparks, Nevada were not immediately known. The suspect was "down," police said, and school officials said there was no further danger. The first reports of gunfire were received early Monday, about 15 minutes before the first classes were scheduled to start. Students from the middle school and next-door elementary school were evacuated to the nearby high school, and classes were canceled. According to police, the shooting occurred on the middle-school campus, but outside the actual school building, in the town east of Reno.
