Arab, Foreign Papers Laud Saudi rejection to Take up ISC Seat 2 Riyadh

Wafd that Saudi Arabia is talking Loud, that the Kingdom has set an example of a free, independent and respectful country, as it rejected to fill a vacant non-permanent seat in the Security Council.
In Germany, a leading newspaper, Deutch Zeitung, displayed a banner in Munich saying that the Kingdom has proved its genuine creditworthy towards Arab issues and the Syrian people, in particular. Another German newspaper called the Kingdom stance as a victory for the Syrian and Palestinian peoples and a slap on the face of UN Security Council permanent members.
On the other hand, the former UN Secretary General Dr. Boutros Boutros Ghali lauded the Kingdom stance, saying, in a press statement today, that the latest stance is a positive step towards pushing ahead the overdue notion of UN reform, in the post-cold-war world.
