AlHijjah 12, 1434, Oct 17, 2013, SPA -- The Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, announced today that this year's Hajj season 1434 AH is safe and free from epidemic or quarantine diseases and that pilgrims are well and enjoying good health. This was announced in a statement at the outset of a press conference held today by the Minister of Health in Mina Emergency Hospital. In the statement, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah said that in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier to provide the best health services and distinguished medical care to pilgrims, the Ministry of Health has mobilized all human, material and technology capabilities to preserve the health and safety of pilgrims and to provide them with a healthy atmosphere to perform their Hajj rituals with ease and comfort. He noted that health statistics and reports showed that the measures and precautions taken by the Ministry of Health have led to the non-registration of epidemic or quarantine diseases among pilgrims. The Minister of Health prayed to God Almighty to preserve the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, the Kingdom and its people to enjoy permanent security, stability and prosperity, wishing pilgrims to return home safely in good health and happiness.
