Turki cited remarks by Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior, to the Saudi Press Agency recently that the mission of the ministry is that pilgrims should concentrate on performing the ritual and refrain from whatever might derail them or others. In response to a question, Al-Harthi said the hypothetical age of tents erected in Mina is ten years ahead. For his part, the representative of the Ministry of Hajj Hatim Gadi said this year a strict two-phase plan was put to transport the wave-like groups of pilgrims. Phase one, which includes 50% of pilgrims, will be kicked off on the 12th day of Zul-Hijja while the remaining half number will be transported from Mina to Jamrat and then to the holy Haram in Makkah on the next day.
