AlHijjah 6, 1434, Oct 11, 2013, SPA -- The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance supervises the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques guests program which began in the year 1417 H. with a noble initiative by the late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz after the breakup of the Soviet Union and the emergence of the Islamic republics. The Executive Director of the program Abdullah bin Medlej Almedlej said that the program began with hosting 1100 pilgrims from the Republic of Chechnya. He praised the support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for supporting the program. As many as 600 pilgrims representing 25 countries have arrived in Makkah until today to perform Hajj under the program. He noted that the number of beneficiaries of the program since its inception amounted to 21,000 pilgrims from 250 countries.
