AlHijjah 2, 1434, Oct 7, 2013, SPA -- Presided over by Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shura held here today its 47th ordinary session. The council approved a draft cooperation and news exchange agreement between Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and Qatar News Agency (QNA) after listening a report of the Culture and Media Affairs Committee read by Dr. Rashid Al-Kathiri, Head of the Committee. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Assistant Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura Dr. Fahaad bin Metad Al-Hamad said that the council listened to a report of the Transport, telecommunications and Information Technology Committee regarding the annual report of Communications and Information Technology Commission for the fiscal year 1433/1434H read by Dr. Sadouan Al-Sadouan, Head of the Committee. Al-Shura Council discussed a report of the Human Resources and Administration Committee regarding the annual report of the Labor Ministry for the fiscal year 1433/1434H, read by Dr. Mohammed Al Naji, Head of the Committee. The Human Resources Committee asked the Labor Ministry to find motive means for the Saudi specialists to work in the fields of health and occupational safety at the ministry. Then, the council discussed a report of Social, Family and Youth Affairs Committee regarding the annual report of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare for the fiscal year 1433/1434H, read by Dr. Khalid Al-Awad, Head of the Committee.
