Hussein expressed thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for patronage of the Fourth News Agencies World Congress in Riyadh. He described the coming conference as one of the most important international conferences in the area of media including a large number of senior officials of various news agencies and institutions of communication and information technologies in countries of the world. He indicated that the conference will address five main themes that have been selected by the International News Agencies Council (NACO). They are "New Products and Services in Markets", "Social Media and Digital News Platforms", "Arabic Newscasters' Points of View on News Agencies", " Exploiting New Opportunities" and "How Can News Agencies Support Future Needs of Newspapers?". He stated that the idea of the kingdom's hosting of the News Agencies World Congress dates back to 2010 when the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Press Agency, participated in the Third News Agencies World Congress in Argentina and invited the fourth conference to be held in the city of Riyadh. He added that invitation received approval of the World Council of News Agencies, noting that the first conference of international news agencies was held in Russia in 2004, and the second in Spain in 2007. --More 21:25 LOCAL TIME 18:25 GMT تغريد
