AlQa'dah 28, 1434, Oct 4, 2013, SPA -- Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim region inaugurated the 1st Qassim Forum for photographers organized by the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in the region. The forum was opened in the presence of Abdullah bin Fahad Al-Hussein, President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), at Al-Nakhlah center here last night with the participation of more than 200 male and female professional photographers and trainers as well as amateurs at the level of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The three-day forum aims to promote professional development and the exchange of expertise and experiences in the area of photography by holding a number of courses, workshops and optical experiments. On the sidelines of the forum, the Governor of Qassim Region also opened the SPA photo gallery, which includes more than 60 historical photos for Saudi Arabia's kings since the era of late founder King Abdulaziz until the current prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
