AlQa'dah 25, 1434, Oct 1, 2013, SPA -- With 16 medals, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked seventh among Islamic countries and second Arabic after Egypt in Islamic Solidarity Games, it was reported here today as the tournament wrapped up.
Nine Saudi sports federations, including football, arrows, basket ball, volley ball, track and field, Karate, Taekwondo, heavy weight lifting and Tennis took part in the event.
Eight medals came from the track and field team, karate two, Taekwondo four, heavy weight lifting one, and tennis one while football, basket ball, volley ball and arrows each failed to score any.
