AlQa'dah 25, 1434, Oct 1, 2013, SPA -- The undersecretaries of housing ministries of GCC member states concluded their 15th meeting here today in preparation for the 12th meeting of GCC housing ministers to be held in Manama on October 7th. The undersecretaries discussed a number of issues relating to the joint housing work, recommending the GCC General Secretariat to develop a set of guidelines in the fields of rationalization of energy consumption in housing projects; the system classifying all consulting offices and contracting companies; and providing perceptions of GCC countries regarding the Arab and gulf construction codes.
