AlQa'dah 22, 1434, Sep 28, 2013, SPA -- The death toll rose to 25 in the collapse of an apartment building in India's financial hub of Mumbai as rescuers continued to search the site overnight, dpa quoted officials as saying Saturday. "We have pulled out more bodies from the debris since Friday night and the total number of dead has reached 25," National Disaster Response Force commander Alok Avasthy said by phone. He said 36 residents including a small girl had been rescued. As many as 35 others were feared trapped in the rubble. The four-storey building in the south-eastern part of the city collapsed early Friday morning when most people were asleep. Officials said the building, about 30 years old, was a residential complex for city employees that did not meet safety criteria.
