WHO Commends Saudi Arabia's Efforts to Counter Coruna Virus

AlQa'dah 20, 1434, Sep 26, 2013, SPA -- Assistant Director General of World Health Organization (WHO) Keiji Fukuda commended the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to counter Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus.
This came in a statement by Fukuda following a meeting of WHO Emergency Committee held in Geneva yesterday.
Fukuda said that the virus poses greater threat to people who are suffering acute respiratory problems and kidney problems. He also said that despite research on the virus, there are still many questions without answers.
