AlQa'dah 19, 1434, September 25, 2013, SPA -- Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, received here today U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on the fringes of the 68th UN General Assembly. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, in addition to the regional and international issues. Earlier today, Sheikh Tamim separately received Lebanon's President Michel Suleiman; Austrian President Heinz Fischer; Tunisian President Mohammed Moncef Marzouki; Somali President Hassan Sheikh; President of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces Ahmad Assi Jarba; Paraguay president Horace Cartes Jara; Ghanaian President John Dramani; Iraqi Vice President Khudair Al-Khuzai; New Zealand Prime Minister John Klee; Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif; and Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat on the sidelines of the meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
