AlQa'dah 15, 1434, Sep 21, 2013, SPA -- Authorities said a shooting and a bombing have killed four members of the security forces in and around a northern Iraqi city, AP reported. Also in Mosul, two soldiers were killed and four others were wounded when a roadside bomb struck their convoy. Mosul, 360 kilometers (225 miles) northwest of Baghdad, is a former militant stronghold. Medics in nearby hospitals confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to media.
