AlQa'dah 13, 1434, Sep 19, 2013, SPA -- Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received here today in the presence of Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, Prince Mansur bin Meteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, and the GCC municipals ministers participating in the 17th GCC Municipalities Ministers. The Bahraini Premier and the Crown Prince welcomed the participants in the meeting, affirming Bahrain's constant desire to host functions aimed to foster joint GCC action, as the best way to reach the aspired level of cooperation among GCC countries. They valued highly the efforts of GCC ministers of municipalities to provide a suitable municipal and developmental environment that meets the expectations of GCC citizens. The GCC ministers of municipalities lauded the efforts of the Government of Bahrain, led by the Bahraini Premier, to consolidate joint GCC action. They took pride in the kingdom's hosting of their 17th meeting, praising the facilities provided by Bahrain to ensure the success of the meeting in order to come up with resolutions that bring about a quantum leap in GCC cooperation in the municipal field.
