AlQa'dah 12, 1434, Sep 18, 2013, SPA -- A second-half header by Naoya Kondo proved decisive as Kashiwa Reysol became the first Japanese club since 2009 to reach the AFC Champions League semi-finals when they defeated Saudi Arabia's Al-Shabab on away goals on Wednesday. According to AFC's website, the central defender met Jorge Wagner's corner in the 73rd minute to give his side a 2-1 lead at the King Fahd International Stadium. And although the home side leveled the score at 2-2 through Hassan Muath in the closing minutes, it was not enough to prevent Kashiwa from progressing to a last four meeting with Chinese champions Guangzhou Evergrande.
