AlQa'dah 12, 1434, Sep 18, 2013, SPA -- Sudan's Minister of Guidance and Endowments Dr. Al-Fateh Taj Al-Sirr expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his government's strenuous efforts to provide utmost services of comfort and tranquility for pilgrims from their arrival to departure. Addressing a party held by the Ministry of Guidance and Endowments in collaboration with the General Directorate for Hajj and Umrah (minor Hajj) to honor the Saudi ambassador to Sudan Faisal bin Hamed Mualla and the embassy staff members for their role in the service of Sudanese pilgrims, even before this year's Hajj season starts, Al-Sirr lauded the projects rendered by Saudi authorities for the comfort of pilgrims, including the constructions in Makkah and Madinah and the sacred places, describing them as great achievements. During the party, the organizers presented a shield of honor to the ambassador in the attendance of representatives of the ministries of interior, foreign affairs and health as well as a number of ambassadors accredited to Sudan and civil society leaders. For his part, ambassador Mualla depicted the service provided by his embassy as duty for Sudanese pilgrims, noting that Hajj visas were smoothly issued in record time, thanks to the cooperation and coordination between the embassy and other Sudanese relevant authorities. He gave an account on the efforts exerted by the Kingdom in the service of pilgrims and Umrah performers since the early days of the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia late King Abdulaziz up to the current era of King Abdullah. In particular, the ambassador thanked Sudan's Hajj-related authorities for honoring the embassy. At the end of the party, the audience viewed a documentary film narrating the Saudi renaissance and the giant projects done at the two holy mosques and the facilities rendered for the guests of God.
