AlQa'dah 5, 1434, Sep 11, 2013, SPA -- On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal , Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Souq Okaz, inaugurated here yesterday evening Souq Okaz "7th Edition''. The Prince toured the Souq (Market) and watched its contents. Addressing the opening ceremony, the Prince said, "We will proceed from the past to the future in light of the justice of Islam, the Holy Quran, Prophetic Sunnah, and regulations". Then a documentary film was presented about the winners of prizes of Souq Okaz. The opening ceremony was attended by Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, Minister of Education; Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities; Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Mohammed, President of Wildlife Commission; Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Relations; Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu and Chairman of Board of Directors of Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC); the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu; the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Al-Anqari; the Minister of Culture and Information Dr Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja; a number of officials; and a group intellectuals and writers from the Kingdom and abroad.
