Israeli conflict, Sheikh Khalid Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Foreign Minister and chairman of the 128th regular session of the GCC Ministerial Council, said: "I express the appreciation of the GCC member States to U.S. President Barack Obama and his Secretary of State John Kerry for their efforts and commitment to achieve a just peace based on the two-state solution and the establishment of a Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital on borders of 1967." Concerning Iran, he expressed the hope that the problem of the Iranian nuclear issue to be addressed through diplomatic means and channels, wishing that Dr. Hassan Rohani, the new president of the Islamic Republic of Iran would open a new chapter in relationships between the GCC member States and his country to be based on the principles of good neighborliness, non- interference in internal affairs, peaceful solutions to conflicts and non-use or threat of using force. On the situation in Yemen, he stressed the importance of the second phase of the GCC initiative and the dialogue of national consensus and the need for the international community' support to enhance it by creating ways necessary for its success to achieve the aspirations and hopes of the Yemeni people. Concluding his speech, the Bahrain's Foreign Minister asked God Almighty to help all for the interest, coordination and integration of GCC societies and citizens and to achieve their aspirations for a better future. Then, a closed session meeting was called by the GCC ministerial council.
