AlQa'dah 2, 1434, Sep 8, 2013, SPA -- Developments concerning the situation in Syria were the main issue highlighted by editorials of Saudi newspapers today. The newspapers detailed developments concerning the issue of the strike against the regime in Syria to respond to Al-Assad's use of chemical weapons. In this regard, Al-Madinah newspaper complained about the Veto system at the United Nations and called for increasing the permanent numbers of the UN Security Council or repealing the veto for a majority vote. On a related issue, Al-Riyadh newspaper highlighted the dangers surrounding Arabs and called for unity among Arab states to face the dangers.
