Faisal asserted that Arabs have supported the Syrian people to defend itself, pointing out that Arab countries, for the first time, have taken an advanced step to support the Syrian people when they recognized the opposition National Coalition as the representative of the Syrian people at the Arab League. The Kingdom, Prince Saud said, has contributed to assist the Syrian opposition against Al-Assad regime, saying that that was accepted by the Syrian people, hence, "what the Syrian people accept, we accept and what they refuse, we refuse." "The blood is shed in Syria and as the international community ignores what is going in Syria, the violence will increase," he said, reaffirming that it is not acceptable to allow the Syrian regime to use poisonous gas against its people, calling upon the international community to use all potentials to stop aggression against the Syrian people, instead of only denunciation and condemnation. Prince Saud Al-Faisal added that the Syrian regime has used poisonous gas against its people, which cannot be tolerated, expressing denunciation against using prohibited weapons internationally against traditional enemies, not against the people which are supposed to be protected by it. In a reply to a question on fears of U.S. airstrike against Syria, Prince Saud Al-Faisal lauded U.S. President Barrack Obama's remarks when he said the strike would be limited and there will not be a land offensive likewise to what happened in Afghanistan and Iraq Prince Saud Al-Faisal concluded that there is a problem facing the Arab world which needs an action to maintain its security, asserting that the crisis is the lack of Arab ability to solve crises, in the face of veto in the Security Council that hampers implementing some resolutions. --More 21:51 LOCAL TIME 18:51 GMT تغريد
