Saudi newspapers focused in their editorials today on two issues: the beginning of the new school year and the situation in Syria. On the start of the new school year in the Kingdom today, Al-Bilad newspaper said that more than 34,000 schools will receive more than 5 million students in all sections of education all over the Kingdom. The rest of the newspapers focused on the situation in Syria and reviewed developments concerning the possibility of a strike on Syria and its consequences. They highlighted the United States' seeking to form an international coalition against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to lead the potential military strike on Syria, especially after the Security Council failed to reach a decision on the crisis. The newspapers highlighted the need to remove the Syrian regime and save millions of innocent Syrians and said the upcoming American strike on the regime of Bashar al-Assad is no longer a matter of debate after the arrival of 6 U.S. destroyers equipped with cruise missiles to the eastern Mediterranean.
