Border shelling from the Democratic Republic of Congo hit Rwandan territory Thursday, the Rwanda Defence Force said, after one woman was killed by a mortar bomb. According to dpa, Rwanda holds Congolese forces responsible for the shelling, RDF spokesman Brigadier General Joseph Nzabamwita told dpa. One woman was killed and her child injured when a shell hit Mbuganini Cell, a market area in Rubavu district, which borders the DRC's volatile East Kivu region. "More rockets where fired into Rwandan territory this afternoon," said Nzabamwita.
