Tunisia's Foreign Minister Othman Al-Jarandi wrapped an official visit to Libya today during which he held talks with senior Libyan officials focusing on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the security field. In a statement issued in Tunis, the Tunisian foreign ministry said Al-Jarani met with the President of Libyan National General Congress Noori Abu Samhain, Prime Minster Ali Zaidan, Foreign Minister Mohammed Abdulaziz and Libyan Defense Minister and discussed with each of them ways of activating the mechanism of cooperation. In this regard, Al-Jarandi expressed hope of his country to see the parties fix a date for an imminent Arab Moroccan Union summit meeting.
