Pakistan was preparing to face more heavy rain and floods Monday as the death toll in the recent bad weather climbed to over 100. The National Disaster Management Authority said 108 people had been confirmed killed and hundreds of thousands were affected, DPA reported. "We have set up 44 camps for the people made homeless by the floods and rains," it said. Most of the damage has been in the eastern province of Punjab, where 30 people died and about were 300,000 affected. More than 500 villages in the province were also hit by the flooding. Two dozen people died in the north-western province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 22 died in Sindh in the south, 16 in the south-western province of Balochistan and 12 in the tribal region along the Afghan border. Four people were also killed in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. More than 2,400 houses had been destroyed and about 3,000 damaged.
