The United State on Tuesday voiced deep concerns over the reported Pakistan-India border violence killing one civilian, as the border dispute intensified between the two nuclear-armed countries. "We are aware of these reports; obviously [we] are concerned about any violence along the line of control. We will continue to encourage further dialogue," State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf said during the daily press briefing. "Our ambassadors in both India and Pakistan have raised these recent incidents with their respective host governments and conveyed our hope that India and Pakistan will continue the steps they have recently taken to improve their bilateral relationship," Harf added.
