A U.K.-based budget airline said one of its planes made a "purely precautionary" landing at Egypt's Sharm el-Sheikh airport, AP reported. Monarch Airlines spokesman Russell Ison says the London-to-Sharm el-Sheikh plane made the unscheduled maneuver after a warning light illuminated in the cockpit. The plane was scheduled to land in Sharm el-Sheikh, but the warning light meant that it given a priority landing. Ison said Thursday the plane was an Airbus A380 with 350 passengers aboard. He said no one was hurt and everyone exited the aircraft normally. The plane is being examined overnight.
