US Military Helicopter Crashes at US Base on Japan's Okinawa

A US military helicopter crashed in an American base on the southern Japanese island of Okinawa on Monday, local media reported.
According to dpa, the HH-60 helicopter burst into flames in the US military's Camp Hansen on the island, the Okinawa Times newspaper reported, citing local police officials.
Video footage on broadcaster NHK showed smoke coming from a fire on a mountainside in Ginoza village where the base is located.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
